James A. Cope IV, O.D.

James A Cope IV, O.D. grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah where he currently resides. He and his wife Shelly are the parents of three children, and have two grandchildren. Dr. Cope graduated from Brigham Young University in 1995 and Pacific University College of Optometry in 1999.

Upon graduation from Optometry school Dr. Cope returned to Utah where he practiced at Excel Eye Center. He has been with Nebo Vision Clinic and Great Basin Optical for the last twelve years. He enjoys working with the patients in these communities and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Cope is an active member of the Utah Optometric Association and has spent many years as a board member. He is a past President of the Utah Optometric Association.

Dr. Cope has experience in prescribing glasses and contact lenses, treatment of eye infections and other diseases, foreign body removal, as well as surgery co-management for cataracts and LASIK.
